How much does it cost?
Price per language for a one-page document (for example, a certificate with its apostille), translated into or from Spanish, VAT not included:

Longer documents are priced per word: €0.10 for the most common languages (English, French, German, Italian, Portuguese), €0.13 for most others (Romanian, Russian, Arabic, Chinese, Polish…) and €0.18 for languages with few sworn translators, always subject to the minimum shown in the table. Urgency, delivery and VAT
- Express: 25% surcharge (short documents in 2 working days). Urgent: 50% surcharge (delivery the next working day).
- The e-signed PDF translation is included. Paper copy by courier: €15 within Spain and €45 abroad.
- VAT: 21%, except in exempt cases (for example, companies in other EU countries with a VAT number).

How the price is calculated
- The language: the fewer sworn translators there are, the higher the cost.
- The length: one-page documents have a fixed price; longer ones are charged per word.
- The turnaround: standard delivery has no surcharge; express and urgent delivery do.
- The minimum applies per order and language, not per document: if you send us several documents together, the words are added up and it works out cheaper.
- The price is the same into Spanish as from Spanish.
What’s included
- Complete translation of the document, including stamps, signatures and the apostille.
- Signature and stamp of a sworn translator appointed by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs (MAEC), or by the Government of Catalonia (Generalitat de Catalunya) for Catalan.
- Delivery as an e-signed PDF, valid before Spanish public authorities.
- A review before delivery and a project manager who answers your questions.
What’s not included
The apostille or legalisation of the original document, which is requested in the issuing country. If you need us to arrange it, we will quote it separately.
Frequently asked questions
Why does a sworn translation cost more than a regular one?
Because it is done and signed by a sworn translator, who takes responsibility for it being faithful to the original, and because it is officially valid before any authority. There are few sworn translators per language, especially for the less common ones.
Do you charge per page or per word?
One-page documents, like most certificates, have a fixed price. Longer ones are priced per word. If you upload the PDF or Word file to the calculator, we count the words in your browser and give you the price straight away.
Is it cheaper to translate several documents at once?
Yes. The minimum applies per order and language, not per document. For example, a birth certificate and a criminal record certificate together usually cost less than two separate orders.
How much does it cost to translate a university degree?
A one-page degree certificate costs the same as any other one-page certificate: from €25 + VAT from English. The academic transcript usually runs to several pages and is priced per word.
Do the prices include VAT?
No. VAT is added to the published prices, except in exempt cases. The calculator shows you the total including VAT.
